Welcome to elderjusticescholars.org, the online elder law and policy resource managed by William Mitchell College of Law's Elder Justice Scholars.

Elder Justice Scholars are William Mitchell students who are awarded competitive placements in an advanced elder law and advocacy program. Each Elder Justice Scholar is placed with a social service organization and given a project to work on to further state policies and ensure justice for elders throughout the State of Minnesota. Elder Justice Scholars participated in William Mitchell's Elder Justice & Policy Keystone Course in the Spring of 2008, which was sponsored by The Center for Elder Justice & Policy.

The Center for Elder Justice & Policy, directed by internationally respected authority on elder law Kimberley Dayton, focuses on education, research, and public service opportunities in the context of elder law and aging issues. Students benefit from a rich elder law curriculum that is one of the most comprehensive in the nation. Outside of the classroom, students gain practical wisdom through hands-on work to help advocacy groups, policymakers, and government agencies that assist seniors and their families.

Launched in May of 2008, elderjusticescholars.org is a resource for elder law students and new attorneys to share research, resources and work product.
